Over Summer we had possibly 5 Rubies hang out at our 3 feeders. Beginning around 1st week of August, the numbers began to climb. We began seeing several conflicts among the dozen or so mixed female and male Rubies so added several more feeders. Today we have 10 feeders up and still several are being protected by mature male rubies - sometimes with physical contact.
