Once again I went out to check the milkweed for eggs and cats after hearing that more adults were seen over the weekend. I saw many chew marks and everywhere I looked I found a 1st or 2nd stage instar. I have brought them all in the lab for safe keeping and observation as they mature. Soon our 2nd graders will be Citizen Scientists as they will begin checking the milkweed beds and raising the Monarch cats they find.
