Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/23/2018

Number: 20

I’ve had larvae since early August. First on the orange Butterfly Weed. When it stopped blooming, the monarchs moved to my tropical butterfly weed to lay eggs, too many larvae to count accurately (20+). This is the first year I’ve had so many with the exception of a couple years ago during an April egg dump.
