30+ larvae at various instars on the very pampered, very protected, very watched milkweed in my yard (I pick spiders off of it). Photo shows just one of the younger ones. I've also got upwards of 50 chrysalises and cats indoors that I've raised from eggs collected from the same very pampered, very protected, very watched milkweed.
