Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers

Date: 08/24/2018

Number: 4

Since mid-July daily multiple sightings. 1 Juvenile here for the last week fattening up and chasing all others coming through away. Last night I had 4 in the yard and she finally gave up and let them feed off flowers and feeders. They are still here this a.m. They appear to be all juvenile females.
I have Red Lobelia Great Blue Lobelia, Cuphea, Black & Blue and Victoria Blue Salvia, Gartenmeister (one of their favourites), Cannas, Zinnias, Lantanas, Manderin Honeysuckle (they love that as well) and many many more. It, of course, varies as to the individual's preference. All that action last night and this a.m. I only saw 1 use the liquid feeder and then just a quick sip.
