August 22nd 2018 on the warm sunny side of The Tip at Point Pelee National Park between 6:25 & 6:45 pm observed about 30 Monarchs either flitting about or roosting in various trees & on vines. Did see a cluster of 3. Still a mix of fresh & faded. Only 6 of the 30 were seen on the shady east side.
None attempted to venture out south to cross Lake Erie.
Much calmer NW wind than earlier in the day (23kph) 13 kph, 21°c. Beautiful blue sky.
