At Sunset Aug 21st & 22nd a few Monarchs chose their overnight roosting sites in our Elm Tree...same tree & same branches every year :)
The branches they flit about in the vids are the branches they chose and upon dusk they settled in & were still there in the morning.
Both night's temps dropped to around 13°c & 15 °c.
We are a short distance due north of The Marsh at Point Pelee National Park & the Monarchs will continue south to the Tip in the Park to cross Lake Erie.
