2 males and a female feeding at the VA CLC butterfly bush. Female also seemed to be napping or drinking on the parking lot pavement when I first saw her. I stirred her to fly lest a car should come...She rose 4 floors in seconds but I think it was she who was soon feeding on the bush--or another female. There were definitely 2 males there. The three put on a show for the vets when they danced around in the air--major aerial acrobats...The path away from the bush has pretty consistently been south or southwest over the past weeks, whether toward a roost, milkweed, or as part of migration, not sure..
