out of 101 eggs collected over three days between my backyard and my butterfly garden at school I now have 56 cats so far. It has been such an amazing summer! We have released 27 monarchs at home and will have 8 more chrysalis at school that hopefully will be released very soon. I teach 3,4,and 5 year olds with various special needs and raising these beautiful butterflies from egg to emergence teaches them how to be gentle and care for the most delicate of creatures.
