Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 08/26/2018

Number: 22

Due to the official start of migration season, there are red flags and ribbons flying in open spots of the forest, near pots of Salvia and honeysuckle--for migrators who may be flying overhead / looking for a bed and breakfast.

Our "resident boys" left the other day. Today our habitat is filled with juvies. They've been playing in the tree tops, resting and preening on branches next to their feeders and enjoying the extensive assortment of flowers, perennials and annuals that reside on the property "just for them."
