Along the sandy footpath of the Sandy Hook Trail we easily spotted 5 caterpillars feeding on some sad-looking milkweed plants. Not sure if the milkweed was at the end of its lifespan. Sunny, partly cloudy, warm, windy conditions near the lake, sheltered by some trees.
