Warm, humid, overcast, 82F. 3-4 p.m. Male and female Monarchs are arriving and resting in a variety of live and dead tree branches and shrubs, including Mulberry, Silver Maple, Lilac, Red Elderberry, and Norway Pine (Red Pine). They are spreading out throughout the yard, with an average of one Monarch per tree or shrub. They are not congregating or roosting close together.
