After 2 weeks of not seeing a female, one shows up at the feeder during the morning for a while. But of course, "The King" comes back to stake his claim on top of the feeder and that was the end of the free food for her. I also have been noticing a lot of what I am calling "Hide and Go Seek" from 2 of the hummers. One will sneak up right next to the male on a branch or plant and just sit there about 6 inches away until the male suddenly notices the other is behind him and then the chase is on. I have noticed this 7 times the past 2 days. It's quite fun to watch.
