Redding, Ct, 8/29/18. The past 5 days have been a state of constant flux with my hummer population. Gaining and losing birds on a daily basis. Mainy of my summer residents have left, but incoming migrants have maintained at 2 to 5 per day. As of 8am this morning I am feedin 11 hummers at 8 feeders. Currently have 2 adult males and 9 females/juveniles. It has been unusually hot, with temps in the mid 90's, which should break tomorrow with a cold front coming thru.
