I saw a monarch caterpillar on a leaf of my lantana plant (which was planted next to a milkweed plant, however I never had seen bites or caterpillars on the milkweed), hanging in the position ready about to form the chrysalis at about 6 pm. AT 9 pm it still was in position, but appeared unchanged. This morning, Wednesday, August 29, the chrysalis was formed.
