Aug 29th 2018 4:30-7:30 pm at Point Pelee National Park from Visitor Center to the TIP & back observed about 25 Monarchs.
Near Visitor Center & west path near Tip they were intensely nectaring on the Super food Goldenrod; Near Sparrow field & along the road intensely nectaring on Woodland Sunflowers.

At the Tip around 5 pm observed a few head out over Lake Erie. Those attempting on the west side turned back to land. Lost sight of 1 that went out over the Tip on the calmer east side. No clusters located.
Hot & very humid 27°c with 14 Kmh WNW wind changing to N wind which will bring more Monarchs down from the north & cooler temps of 23°c.
