I live here since 10 years and I have never seen so many monarch butterflies since this year, especially in the past 8 weeks.
Up til today I see them constantly around me, sometimes
almost bumping in me. In 2017 we
didn't seem to have many, but in 2018 they are abundant. Sightings are from early morning
until almost dark. They visit frequently the butterfly bush, phlox and rose of Sharon in my yard. Often I watch 3 or 4 at the same time.
