In the afternoon in sunny conditions saw an adult male bird at the feeder when another bird came along and chased it away.

the two Humming birds came back and seemed to fight over whose feeder it was for some hours.

Each time they would chase each other away, a third bird arrived and fed from the annual plants nearby as well as the feeder.

Nixe to see. We feel that the birds are starting to head south from north of our region and, that is causing the dispute with our frequent male visitor.
