Probably about 30 monarchs in and around our yard and neighborhood.

Some of our tithonias were fading and dry, so we stopped at a local greenhouse and bought two large hanging baskets to set in elevated plant holders. One is a lantana that's covered with blooms and has been indoors. The monarchs went wild for it. I suppose nothing had been taking any nectar in the greenhouse. (The other basket is a fuchsia for the hummingbirds.)
