I observed and captured a female monarch at 12:45PM in my garden. I tagged it with YGN-955. The rest of the day to 4PM, I observed 16 more monarchs land in my garden or in directional flight under threatening thunderstorm skies. Wind was SW-10 mph with the temperature 76F.
