in my school garden this morning.
green lynx spider lurking close by. female had feet stuck to flowers and had slightly crumpled wings. i flicked spider away butterflies flew off. female had milkweed flowers stuck to feet. she flew back to me and i was able to take the flowers off that were weighing her down. She flew off to the next bed over and found the male. they continued their time together in a beautiful dance in the air before landing on our other bed of milkweed. to top it off I saw four gulf fritillary on our purple passion vine. what an amazing morning!
