Since late August they are in my yard
On the milkweed & trumpet vines I saw one this morning on the rose of Sharon blooms. There are from two to six at a time. Since we live right on Lake Erie they show up at all time of the day.. today I saw them in a roost on the evergreen. Beautiful.

It was in early morning I saw them roosting , and there were at least a half dozen together. When I returned from church, they were no longer roosting but there were several flying around the milkweed.
