Have seen 9 Male ruby throats,3 of are sub adult males since August 23rd,2018 come in. It's a degavou day having to cover feeders with plexiglass squirel baffles as did during Harvey hurricane last year. With a lot of rain now but less than during Harvey. I understand migration last year for hummingbirds was inland, so folks East wondering if Harvey got most of them apparent did not in TPW count.
One sub adult male in particular is enjoying Hamelia,Mexican honeysuckle Justica,Turks cap and won't let others enjoy chasing them off regularly. I do however question if it's a ruby throat. Too much brown on front area.
