Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 09/03/2018

Number: 14

We continue to find numerous larvae in our yard (. Last year we found less than 10 all season. This year we've had numerous monarchs visit each week and our milkweed patches are hosting the most dozens of larvae. A generally wet summer (until last 12 days) has supported a large number of flowers and milkweed this season. Monarchs are feeding on butterfly weed in our yard before moving on.
