Today I took my 2 mile hike and observed no monarchs at Harrisville State Park campground, beach, or rail road tracks. No monarchs were seen and the end of 2/3rd Streets fields or the Health Department ponds. However, I finally counted 7 monarchs at Harrisville Harbor and one in town on goldenrod. This low number may be due to winds WSW-16-27 mph and a dew point of 70 degrees with humidity at 75%. Temperature at 1:30PM was 87F. Thunderstorms are approaching from the west.
