Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/05/2018

Number: 8

8-10 ruby throated hummers really taking on nectar. All females but some could be juveniles. They were busily moving from annual salvias to nectar feeders & back again. Seeing more toleration among the females. Hummers have their definite perching preferences but would allow others in to feed. Many are noticeably chubby. Quitting time to roost for the evening was about 7:53 pm. They were a blast to watch.
