Monarch Waystation #271 reports observations in the front yard from about 10 to 11 am. Two 5th instar larvae [1 on Tropical milkweed, other on bricks near base of a pot of Tropical milkweed]. Also saw one newly molted 3rd instar on the underside of a tropical milkweed leaf in another pot. Its molted skin was still attached at the back [still walking away from it] and its head capsule was very pale.
