Monarch Waystation #271 reports sightings of a male hummingbird, not sure if adult. @1:55 pm small bird with small or no tail spots eyeballed me as I move across my kitchen window as I glanced out. It perched on a sunflower stalk, then a passing car startled him to fly to back yard. Saw him briefly earlier in am hovering over nearby Tithonia. @7:10 pm saw same bird making a circuit around all the Tithonia blooms, rested on the neighboring sunflower's stalk again, then flew away in a flash.
