Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 08/29/2018

Number: 100

Many monarchs hanging around my new flow beds planted this year. They seem to be nesting in the evenings and in the farmer's field of clover.

They were dispersed all over my hawthorne bushes and not concentrated in one spot for a good photo shot. When I approached them, at least 100 flew out of the bushes. Maybe next year I will have another chance for a photo session. I plan to plant several hundred milkweed plants next to my wild flowers.
