I was surprised as they seem late this year compared with past years. I had decided that due to hot and stormy weather we’ve had for several weeks they may not stop here as they traveled south. Some of the plants I’ve tried to have available for them drowned and our butterfly garden is not as good as last year but we do have some milkweed, Mexican sun flowers and a few other plants for nectar. Last year they came earlier and some were still hear on December 29th and I was out in the garden trying to move plants to a greenhouse when it snowed and that was bad for them.
