Found this butterfly as a caterpillar on a milkweed plant in early August. Brought it inside to study the life cycle with my kids. The butterfly emerged yesterday and we released him today. I have 8 more chrysalis and 2 more caterpillars still. My son and I were able to watch this one enter into the chrysalis stage.
