No monarchs seen in our own garden and in cycling 20 miles around areas in southwest Minneapolis that had big crowds of monarchs before the September 5th southbound winds. Also none seen when driving perhaps ten miles through butterfly-friendly neighborhoods.

The only exception was one captive-reared female that we released on the Midtown Greenway. She departed southward.
