Saw one well worn adult near our house (rural location native habitat). looked more like a spring returnee from Mexico than a fall migrant. I did not have camera with me but got a very close look. Of course gone when I returned with camera. Not a Queen, of which there are many around. Moving around apparently nectaring, usually near ground to ground. Many small low (forb) flowers are currently blooming as is Hairy Grama (a prairie grass).
