Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)
Sightings report image

Date: 09/08/2018

Number: 1

Looks like our resident Ruby Throated male left on his journey south yesterday. He was at the feeder, about every ten minutes, taking long drinks. He had defended that feeder, chasing any hummer that tried to drink. A juvenile male tried to stand up to him...but the old guy won every time. What joy to watch him. May he be safe on his long journey. He will be missed.
