We observed 7 adult monarchs, for about 30 minutes at 10am, flying around our yard. We managed to net, tag, sample for OE and release 3; 2 females and 1 male.

The monarchs were nectaring on eastern blazing star and zinnias.

Separately, we also netted a viceroy and released it.
