11 am. In Conservation Reserve Program. The Conservation Reserve Program is where farmers can take farmland out of crop production. There are different crp plans. Ours is planted with wild flowers and native grasses for pollinators: bees and butterflies and partial planting for wildlife.

Monarchs flying up out of vegetation or trees. Cool south wind. I don’t know if the monarchs were in the trees overnight or if they were down in the grass.
