Monarch Egg Sighted

Date: 09/04/2018

Number: 2

We saw a monarch butterfly lay 2 eggs in the courtyard of our elementary school. We think she must have been desperate to lay eggs because she laid them on top of some ivy leaves - not milkweed. We transferred them to milkweek leaves. One of the eggs hatched on Sunday, September 9, 2018.
