Only two Monarchs feeding at the moment. Looks like the "crowd" from yesterday have moved on. It's hot and humid with winds 17 miles per hour SSW. I also saw a bedraggled, worn and torn female flying around the garden. She did not feed she only visited the common milkweed and exhibited egg laying behavior. I chased after her checking the milkweed but I didn't see any eggs. I wonder if the females know when they are out of eggs or if they just keep trying to lay eggs until the end. I am going to check the milkweed again and I hope I don't find any eggs.
