We've had a pair of males and females this season. We noticed that we hadn't seen the males for a few days.
Now on or about the 9/4/2018, we noticed 2-3 birds fighting for one of the the two feeders we have. Seeing 3 on one feeder has never happened before. We final watched 5 birds fight over the two feeders, thinking that our two local birds were protecting their territory.
As of yesterday we still have 3 birds, still fighting, or so it seems.
