Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/10/2018

Number: 1

Today is Sept. 11th. Yesterday, the 10th, my hard drive failed catastrophically, so I was unable to enter my observation(s).
I called to my young female hummer 3xs. She came each time from 6:23Am, to 11:10AM, and 3:23PM.
Each time she would sit on the mtn. ash branch and then drop to the feeder and hover at each of the 5 ports, but only drink for a second from each one, and then fly away.
In the afternoon, she hovered a few yards away from feeder, twice, and flew in an "infinity", or sideways figure 8 pattern.
Today, I have called many times but no sighting.
I think she left last night and that was her way of saying "thanks," for feeding me. I'd like to fantasize that she was telling me that she'll love me and remember me for "always."
