We have seen hundreds of butterflies fluttering around the trees on the south side of the road (1/4 mile stretch) for a couple days now (9/9-9/12). Lots of milkweed in the ditch.
Also saw one caterpillar on 9/8. I've never seen anything like it. This morning 9/12 I went out and they are still there but much less active.
