This caterpillar crawled into the siding of my shed and the chrysalis didn't form correctly. When it was 1 day from emerging, it dropped so I could see it. After the day I had with the wasps I was leery about leaving it out. I brought it in and on 9/11 it emerged but it was defective. The wings never expanded and it just couldn't fly. I put it on an aster plant and it was sipping nectar but this afternoon I found it dead.
