I haven't seen any monarchs at all since about May 7, but early this morning, one fluttered by my window. No other sighting today. Meanwhile, last chrysalis I raised from caterpillars found here got really dark this morning, but nothing hatched, even though I put in warm sun later. I fear it is parasitized. None of the other 16 caterpillars I raised into butteflies this summer from this site were parasitized.
