My many flower baskets are still in bloom. Also still have lots of orange/red blossoms on my pole beans. I saw one hummer at 6:15 pm feeding from both of these. I suspect it was a young bird rather than an adult female because it ignored the 2 feeders hung among the baskets and went to the flowers instead. I find the adults much prefer the feeders over the flowers whereas some of the younger birds don't know what a feeder is yet! I haven't seen my 'regulars' in a few days so I suspect this little guy stopped by on his way south. I keep my feeders up until late September to help out any birds who may be late starting their migration.
