Monarch Egg Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/12/2018

Number: 5

I have never before found eggs so late in the summer. This afternoon my husband watched the monarch hang around the milkweed/ pollinator garden. We examined leaves she had been on, and found the eggs. I will collect and rear them indoors. Fingers crossed that the milkweed plants hold out and that no early freeze occurs. Way Station 9418
