At noon I took my 2 mile walk in and around Harrisville and observed no monarchs. However, when I got home at 3PM, I saw a male monarch on a yellow marigold flower in my wife's veggie garden. I was able to net and tag it. Tag is YGN-969. Another monarch showed up at 7PM, but it fluttered around the back yard at left heading SW. Weather was 100% sunshine with the wind SW turning to the SE at 10 mph and temperature 70F.
