We saw 11 caterpillars and one Chrysalis, and 1 caterpillar hanging by its tail. The milkweed patch is declining - 50% of the plants are dry and black. I moved a couple caterpillars to younger fresh plants. Also saw 2 adults looking for a place to sit on the pine tree. This was about 7PM and the sun had finally popped out. I may have inadvertently posted this more than once - tried to upload a picture from my phone but it didn't work.
