Just a guess at the number, as every milkweed plant I checked this morning had at least one and some plants 2-4 that I could see. Didn't have time to count all plants and caterpillars. Had to re-locate one to another plant as that plant was stripped. Watching several more as they will also need to be re-located to better plants.
In all the years I've been blessed with Monarchs, I have never seen numbers like this!!
They made it through our rains, but more rain to come. Hoping for some sun and drier weather for them.
