At 12:30PM today, I went to Harrisville State Park and observed 3 monarchs and was able to net and tag one male monarch and took a picture of one of the other two on a Purple Loosestrife flower spike. Tag is YGN-970. Later, when I returned home, I saw 2 monarchs in my neighbor's back yard feeding on sunflowers and white asters. Weather was 100% sunshine with the wind ESE-10 mph and the temperature 73F.
