Arrived at the Goose Lake Prairie picnic area around 6:20 just before sunset. Lots of butterflies in the grove. Some had already gathered in groups on the branches of the surrounding trees. By 7:15 hundreds had flown in and found a spot for the night. Unforgettable experience.
